A crack size dependence of environmentally assisted crack growth rate based on electrochemical differences between small, short and long cracks is well established ( Gangloff, 1981 Eickemeyer, 1987 Lee et al., 1988 Nakai et al., 1989 Jones & Simonen, 1994 Berechid et al., 1999 Nakajima et al., 2001 Kim & Hartt, 2006 Burns, 2010 Turnbull, 2012 Zhou et al., 2015). ![]()
